fine dining in Picton Marlborough Sounds
Experience fine dining prepared exclusively by a New Zealand born, British-trained chef. All produce is locally grown, caught or obtained from Marlborough and surrounding areas, including wild game from the Marlborough ranges and fresh salmon from the Marlborough Sounds.
The price for our fine dining dinner is $80.00 per person 4 course A La Carte menu which includes a bottle of local Marlborough wine between two persons. Guests may dine outside in a private romantic garden setting or in the main kitchen. Dining can also be accommodated in the guest lounge. The dinner menu changes daily and bookings are required at your earliest convenience to cater for your specific tastes.

Entrées:
Smoked Mussels wrapped in smoked salmon prosciutto
Served with crisp greens and lemon wedges.
Avocado and smoked chicken salad
With cherry tomatoes, and strawberries dressed with raspberry vinegar.
Lamb kidney and bacon tarts
Steaming hot and tasty with a toasted bread crumb topping.
Falafel cakes pan fried
Home-made vegetarian / vegan made from split peas, coriander and garlic served with a side of fresh hummus.
Main Course:
Braised Pork Loin with fresh sage
Crisp pork served on apple rings, gravy and apple sauce.
Seafood Platter
Marinated Raw Fish in coconut cream, Smoked Salmon, Grilled Prawns, Smoked Mussels, and poached whole Mussels and marinated Squid Rings. The Pick of Marlborough, all seafood smoked and prepared by us and served with a spiced cocktail sauce.
Rack of Lamb
Rubbed rack with Cajun spice and served on minted potatoes.
Vegetable Frittata
No flour or dairy eggs and vegetables only and oven baked served with a side of relish.
Desserts:
Brandy snap baskets with Lemon Mousse.
Individual chocolate cheese cake with berries.
Ginger nut ,Rhubarb and Strawberry Parfait.
Pecan and golden Syrup Pudding.
New Zealand cheeses with crackers & seasonal fruit.
